Learn Piano the Hard Way

The Hard Way is not the most difficult way.

We seek the path of least resistance. Unfortunately for us, this is often the wrong path – it is filled with false starts, long detours and many dead ends. The Hard Way takes effort, but not as much as having to go back to unlearn.

Know the Why.

If people understand why they're doing something, they will learn it almost effortlessly. Rather than simply giving exercises, this book focuses on principles, concepts, techniques and ideas for learning piano in the most effective way.

Spend time on the foundation.

When you spend time on laying a solid foundation, you can focus on building, rather than fixing.

Remove doubt.

As long as you put in the work and give yourself the time, there is nothing holding you back from true mastery.
